Traveling And Travel Tips

Most people like to travel, depending on their time and their
financial situation. It provides a certain excitement and fun factor
to visit another country and see other cultures. And on the way learn
something new and interesting. But many people are uncertain of what
should they do, and how could they prepare for the journey. There is a
little fear as well, safety reasons for one. They don't know how to
behave, or what should they do when going into and unfamiliar place.
Will everything be alright? Is it safe? How will the people react if I
do something wrong? On some of those questions I will provide a short
answer. In my time that I worked as a travel agent, I learned a lot
about the way how to travel safely and what thing are taboo and what
is acceptable. Every new trip is an enormous experience, and I would
highly recommend to anyone to travel as much as they can.First of all,
be prepared. Before you go somewhere, be sure to check out what place
you are visiting. Find out more about the country you are going to.
Learn more about their culture, find out as much information as you
can. It would not be good when you do something to insult people, and
you won't even know why. Simply use the internet, and check the basic
information about the people and country in general. If you are going
by a travel agency, ask you travel guide to tell you some things that
are useful on your trip. But every good travel agent will tell you
that by themselves.

Second, be sure to check the basic things that are related to visa (if you
need one), and how long you can stay in that country. For example, some
countries that have a lot of tourist destinations can give you a visa for
3 months. But most people don't know, or simply don't read all the
information that was given to them, that you have to report to the
Immigration after 2 month period. They just forget it, or they don't know.
And then the following thing happens. Went they want to leave and after 3
month stay, they would have to pay a large amount of money because their
visa is not confirmed. And the sum of money that you have to pay can be
quite high. So always check at your travel agency, or directly in
Immigration for as much information as you can. When you arrive at your
destination, remember that you are a foreigner. Try to learn about their
behavior, and the simple things like a greeting in their language. Be
polite! You are after all a guest there. Most tourist places are used to
foreigners, so they don't mind if someone makes a small mistake.Always
find out more about money exchange. It can happen that in some countries
exchange offices have different exchange rates for buying and selling
foreign money. If that is the case, be sure to look around for the
exchange office that is the most profitable. If you are uncertain, in the
beginning just change a small amount of money for food and drink Than
later when you find out which exchange office offers better rates, change
more money.

Keep your passport and money safe. When you are going out for a walk, be
sure to have the money on you so that it cannot be stolen. You can take
small bag that go over the shoulder or around the waist. They are small,
but hard to reach. And if someone wants to take something, because it is
close to your body, you will notice right away. Try not to take all your
money with you. Carry only as much as you think you will spend. So even if
you get robbed or you just forget your bag somewhere, the loss would not
be that great.Depending on how long you stay in certain country, find out
if you have to carry your passport all the time. If it isn't required from
you to constantly carry a passport, leave it some place safe, like in a
safety deposit box in your hotel. Do not lose it. Your passport is worth
more than the money you carry. So always check it first.I hope that
briefly answered some of the questions asked by new travelers. I will
further explain about useful things on traveling in my next article.Enjoy
your trip and be smart.
